The Group

This facebook group was established to provide a home for fans of the stories, characters, and world of Sherlock Holmes. In an effort to establish a place where everyone feels comfortable we have developed some guidelines to keep in mind as you interact in this group. We hope that these guidelines will ensure that you have an enjoyable experience and return to the group regularly to participate in discussions.

The Users

Use of this page is subject to the normal Facebook Terms and Conditions of use of being a Facebook user.
The services and content are designed for individuals 13 years of age or older.
As a user of the service you will uphold this code of conduct, and are responsible for all activities and content or comments you post/upload.
In addition to upholding this code of conduct, you are responsible for adhering to all applicable local and national laws.

Prohibited Uses

The admins may without notice ban, block, mute or report individual user accounts who post any of the following or similar content to the group.

Content that:

Incites, advocates or expresses extreme pornography, obscenity, vulgarity, profanity, hatred, bigotry, racism, or violence.
Provides or creates links to external sites that violate this code of conduct.
Threatens, stalks, defames, defrauds, degrades, victimizes or intimidates an individual or group of individuals for any reason; including on the basis of age, gender, disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation, race or religion.
‘Junk mail’, ‘spam’, ‘chain letters’, ‘pyramid schemes’, ‘affiliate marketing’, or unsolicited commercial advertisement.
Details of unsubstantiated allegations. Serious allegations will, of course, be taken seriously.

The admins are not responsible for the content of any user-created posting, listing or message. The decision to view content or engage with others is yours. We advise you to use your judgment.

The admins reserve the right to amend or change the code of conduct or any service at any time without notice. We encourage you to periodically review these guidelines to ensure you are in compliance.

Anti-harassment policy

221Be Here is dedicated to providing a harassment-free community for everyone, regardless of sex, gender, gender identity or expression, disability, physical appearance, age, body size, ethnicity, nationality, religious beliefs, or sexual or romantic orientation. We do not tolerate harassment of group members in any form. Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the group at the discretion of the organisers.

Harassment includes but is not limited to:

offensive verbal or written comments related to sex, gender, gender identity or expression, disability, physical appearance, age, body size, ethnicity, nationality, religious beliefs, or sexual or romantic orientation
deliberate intimidation, threats, stalking, following
sustained disruption of group discussion
“Trolling” – posting content with the intention of provoking a negative reaction
unwelcome sexual attention
advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.

If a group member engages in harassing behavior, the organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the community. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact an admin immediately. Harassment can also be reported to Facebook.
