About Me:  I write historical thrillers and Sherlockian pastiches, seek secondhand pretty dresses, and yammer endlessly about the Great Detective and the Good Doctor.  I’m also a member of the Adventuresses of Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars.

How I First Encountered Sherlock Holmes:  My dad told me to read “The Speckled Band” when I was ten.  Then I kept reading them. I haven’t quite got around to stopping yet.

Favourite Character: Dr. John Hamish “Three Continents” Watson

Favourite Story:  That is the cruelest question I have ever seen. Fine, “Charles Augustus Milverton.” Fine.

Favourite Adaptation:  BBC Sherlock, although I’ve a very soft spot for David Burke.

One Random Fact:  My friend played the Granada theme on the viola during the candle ceremony at my wedding.
