Fandom Friday: Beastly Beverages

We’ve been a little lax with the whole Fandom Friday thing recently, I mean, this is posting on a Saturday and all… so sorry for that! It’s a busy time in BSB land. I just moved back to London, Lyndsay is on a book tour for Seven For A Secret, Maria just finished her PhD… so we’re all a bit crazy at present. BUT, look at the delightful thing that is being posted! Tea! We all love tea!

When Adagio jumped on the bandwagon of catering to fan culture with Cara McGee’s fandom inspired blends, we were in love, and still are. However, there’s one big issue (even though they can’t control it yet) and that’s international orders. You can get them, sure, but the shipping is extreme. As such, those in the UK & beyond were left to simply pine or enter lots and lots of giveaways in hopes of getting a fandom cuppa. But no more!

Brighton tea lover Magdalena created Beastly Beverages, fandom teas for this side of the pond. As her tumblr says, “Beastly Beverages is a small business based in sunny Brighton. I combine a love of tea with fandom and a generous dash of geekery, to bring you unique blends.” And she’s got everything from Sherlock blends (The Reichenbach Fall 3 Pack, Irene Adler as pictured to the left, Molly Hooper, Mystrade) to Supernatural to Doctor Who & Loki, all with unique art by various artists. They’re much different blends from Cara’s, which is great, because more tea is always a good thing and different combinations make me very happy. I love all tea, as should you, and so I really recommend giving these a try if you can! She does ship to the US, etc as well.

I highly recommend Blood & Semtex from the Villain Pack.

You can buy the lot at her Etsy shop & get a better look at the art on her tumblr.
