Tickets for our 4th charity ball in support of wounded and disabled veterans will go on sale Friday, November 20th at daintiestpjparty.bpt.me!
This year we have a few changes:
1) We are offering $65 VIP tickets that will include extra goodies. There are a limited amount and they will include admission, print of official poster by Elizabeth Lord, buffet dinner, and a special San Diego Comic Con edition Sherlockian goodie bag. The $45 ticket includes admission, buffet dinner, and regular goodie bag.
2) For the past three years our charity of choice has been The Wounded Warrior Project, which we have helped raised $16,000 for. This year we are changing our charity to the Disabled American Veterans Trust, so we hope you’ll assist us in raising just as much money for them and the work they do to help the men and women so often forgotten.
For more information on the ball, see below!
This year we’re throwing a PYJAMA PARTY! Yes, that’s right! Come in your finest dressing gowns, onesies, negligees, and fluffy bunny slippers. William Gillette will be our lovely host and as always, entertainment will be abound in form of music, contests, and our auctions.
The Daintiest Thing in a Dressing Gown Pyjama Party
Hosted by William Gillette. The Baker Street Babes present a charity ball to benefit the Disabled American Veterans Trust.
Thursday, January 14th at 8:00 p.m. The Player’s Club at 16 Gramercy Park South, NY 10003
Cost: $45.00 – $65.00
Open to all Sherlockians and their friends. There will be a buffet dinner, cash bar, live music, prizes, toasts, and entertainment.
Now, as I’m sure you know by now, 100% of proceeds from the Ball go to benefit wounded veterans.
We are requesting if any of you fine citizens of the internet are inclined to clean out any Sherlockian-oriented closets or donate original pieces of art and crafts, we would be thrilled and honored to accept donations to our live and silent auctions.
Shipping becomes very difficult during the holiday season. So if anyone has an item to contribute or a suggestion to make, we’re all ears, and will promptly give you our mailing address or collect the object at a Sherlockian event in the NYC area.
Please email us at email@example.com with any offers of items, art, or crafts with a Sherlockian theme. If they have to do with William Gillette, even better!
