The free ticket is offered by Sherlockian Army Wife Erin, who regrets her own absence and will now tell her own incredible story:
“Hello! My name is Erin W. I am a 26 year old US Army Wife. I am also a HUGE Sherlock Holmes Fan. My husband, Brian, is a RedLeg Cannoneer who is currently deployed. We are high school sweethearts from Chicago who have moved a bunch of times across the nation. We have a baby girl named Pearl, and she is soon turning 1 year old. Her father misses her. I gotta tell ya, it has been a long year. As you can see, I am not prepared for a Baker Street Babes Ball in New York, even one for a great project like Wounded Warrior. But we want to support those who came before, during, and after our stay in the military. They sacrificed for our nation’s enduring freedom.
These men and women are heroes to us.
So, we bought one ticket.
We want someone to go in my place. We want to see someone have Holmesian fun while I feed Pearl’s addiction to Jeremy Brett. We are handing over my ticket to The Baker Street Babes for a lucky person to win.
